Agota Balot

I was born into a fencing family and have spent my entire life close to or on the fencing strips of Hungary, Austria and the USA. I have competed for more than 20 years in Europe, having earned medals at national and international championships. I still compete in national and international veteran events.

In Budapest, I worked as business manager specializing in large hotels. In Austria, I utilized my knowledge of languages managing import/export departments for several companies. Presently, I own and manage the Atlantic Fencing Academy (Colts Neck and East Brunswick). The past six years I have been and still am the head coach of the Ranney School fencing team.

I believe that my experience with various organizations and most importantly the gained insight into fencing programs from local to international levels would be an asset to the development and advancement of the USFA NJ Division.
