Glenn Pantel

FENCING EXPERIENCE:

• Somerville High and Johns Hopkins - first freshman to win an individual championship in Mid-Atlantic Conference (MACFA).
• B2007 (foil), C2008 (epee).
• 2007 US Team (Vet 50 Foil) - competed in Sydney, Australia.
• Numerous NAC's and every Summer Nationals since 2004.

FREE LEGAL SERVICE TO FENCING CLUBS

• Provided several thousand dollars of free legal services to NJ Fencing Alliance and Medeo to obtain use variances.

DIVISION SERVICE

• Executive Committee - let's bring a NAC to NJ.
• Bylaws Committee - with Messrs. Bukantz, Sobel, and Paragano - developed Committee consensus, producing Bylaws adopted by our membership.

I am the parent of a fencer who has competed locally and nationally, so I have encountered issues faced by our "fencing parents." The Division should promote opportunities offered by great clubs with great facilities. I believe in building consensus, being fair, and being a good listener.
