Steve Sobel

Steve Sobel was USFA President for 8 years, USOC Vice President for 4 years, and a NJ Division chair for 4 years. He is currently President of the U.S. Fencing Foundation, Associate USFA Counsel, a member of the USFA Executive Committee, President of the Garden State Games, and a referee at NJ high school fencing competitions.

He is a retired fencer, former NCAA champion, with no club affiliation. He brings years of practical sport governance experience to the NJ Executive Committee without any conflicts of interest. Professionally he is a Law Professor at Montclair State University.
