USFA NJ Division

This is the website for the New Jersey Division of the United States Fencing Association (USFA). It holds and sanctions competitions for USFA competitions for the state of New Jersey, and provides qualifier events for the Mid-Atlantic Section and to the US National Championships.

The NJ Division is one of the largest and active divisions in the United States, with a very prominent youth program. Many youth fencers have gone on to prominent collegiate fencing teams, and many NJ fencers have become US national champions and Olympians.

Message Board

In addition to this website, the Division also has a message board and mailing list. We recommend all members sign up for this free service in order to receive news and post comments and questions.

Volunteers

The division is entirely run by volunteers: mostly fencers and fencers' parents. Volunteer efforts are what makes the division vibrant and fun. Prospective volunteers should contact Vince Paragano to facilitate training. Volunteering at an event is a good way to spend some time while at an event, plus, you may earn a free entry for your child or yourself.
